It offers triple inverse exposure based on the moves of NASDAQ 100 but its effect is limited to a few hours only due to compounding effects. As a result, it is heavily traded and is ideal for short-term traders that seek higher volatility. The performance of the fund is affected by fundamental events like economic outlook, interest rate expectations and inflation expectations that also affect the NASDAQ 100 index.
