EUR/PLN is an exchange rate that specifies how many PLN (Polish złoty) can be converted into one EUR (Euro), therefore the base currency is EUR and the price currency is PLN. If this rate declines, it means that PLN appreciates relative to EUR and if this rate increases it means that the PLN depreciates against the EUR.
