AWS had a very strong Q4 2025, with revenue reaching $35.6 billion, up 24% - its fastest growth in over three years. On an annual basis, that’s about $142 billion, with a large $244 billion backlog from long-term contracts, mainly driven by demand for AI infrastructure. Amazon’s advertising business also grew quickly, reaching $21.3 billion in Q4 (+22%). Total company revenue for the quarter was $213.4 billion. For Q1 2026, Amazon expects revenue between $173.5 and $178.5 billion. The main concern is spending. Amazon plans to invest about $200 billion in 2026, mostly into AI infrastructure.
