The fund invests mainly in companies that form the Russell 2000 index, offering investors a low cost alternative (0.2%) to gain diversified exposure in low-cap stocks. The funds' performance is affected by the overall performance of these companies which by definition are more volatile compared to large-cap stocks that form other indexes such as the S&P 500. Factors like the prevailing economic conditions, inflation expectations, interest rates investor sentiment and firm-specific factors are the most critical ones for the fund’s future performance.
